My name is Merlin Stonecypher, and I am a VP of Product Design and Research who focuses on designing human centered interfaces for multi-device experiences. Creating user centric products requires deep understanding of product ecosystems.
With 20+ years of UX Strategy, User Experience, User Research, Usability, Interaction and Visual Design skills, I am experienced in synthesizing complex concepts into simple yet useful designs.
I have worked in various industries such as IT, cybersecurity, finance, gaming, healthcare, telecommunications, navigation, location services, automobile, e-commerce, social media, food
and more.
My passion is to travel around the world and live in different countries as much as I can. I was born in Indonesia and grew up surrounded by rich culture, art, design and technology. Traveling and living in several countries (Asia, Europe and US) gave me empathy, fresh insights and enriched my understanding of how global and local customers interact and communicate with media and technology. These experiences inspired me to be a researcher, collaborator, communicator, and UX advocate. My goal is to create a connected experience with intended customers by observing and listening to their needs.
